Wow !! I can’t believe another year has passed and time again for my New Years Resolutions.

Well, my resolutions are not like everyone else’s resolutions. You know–like losing weight, reading more, spending more time with friends and relatives, keeping a cleaner house, getting organized, reducing the size of my ‘to do’ list, learning to cook, keeping up with my bills, saving money, getting out of debt, learn something new, eating better and exercising more. OHHH I guess they are. These are my resolutions, but they are also the most popular resolutions.

Most people don’t stay with their resolutions, sources say they barely last a week.
So here are a few hints to help us be more successful.

    1. Start small. A habit is created by repeating it for at least 21 days.

    2. Pick out two to three resolutions, rather than 10 or 12.

    3. Make the resolution fun, yes fun. Be creative.

    4. Be specific.

    5. Break up the resolution into small chunks, then you have more successes and can see more progress.

    6. Set a time to complete a goal or a portion of the goal.

    7. Tell others about your goals, they will help keep you on track.

    8. Mark them on a calendar, visual reminders and successes look good on the calendar. For example, a red star for exercising, yellow star for keeping house clean, green star for saving money.

    9. Make at least one of your resolutions a very easy one.

    10. Reward yourself, but not with sweets !!!!!!!
