Garden Greenhouse Update
Posted on April 4th, 2010 No commentsI am trying to start tomatoes, peppers and all kinds of plants this year. I have a make-shift greenhouse that I am growing most of my plants in. You can check out pictures of it here.
Here are a few pictures of the plants as they looked on April 1st.
This is a picture of my garden cress, I have two flats. They are about 1 inch tall.
Here are some radishes, French Breakfast and Radiant,a Watermelon type that I grew from seeds I saved last season. The Radiant radish is red in the center and green on the outside. A new ‘heirloom radish’.
This picture shows a good example of the labels I have made from forks. Here is some Swiss Chard, they are coming up nicely.
Here is a picture of my ‘real greenhouse’, this picture shows 7 rows of vegetables inside. From left to right, 3 rows of radishes, cress, 2 rows of lettuce and spinach. They are looking good. I just checked the temperature, it is 110 degrees. I cracked the door a few inches to ‘cool’ it off.
